Judge Munley strikes down Hazleton's IIRA, saying it is unconstitutional and attempts to supersede federal immigration statutes.
Recently the Homeland Security Department decides that they are going to "crack down" on firms that hire illegal aliens.
Wasn't that one of the main points of Mayor Barletta's IIRA?
Perhaps the mayor and the city of Hazleton should look into suing the federal government for not enforcing their own laws.
